If I told you when I woke up that morning in March 1991, that I would be wearing an orange jumpsuit, shackled by my wrists and ankles to a man I've never met, and then herded onto a Correctional Facility bus, I would have laughed. This is my story of redemption - from the lowest point in my life to discovering God's plan. I remember attending a church service the first month I got to CCI prison, when the chaplain asked if anybody wanted to give their life to Christ. Two weeks passed and finally I got up the nerve on the third week to walk down front in front of a bunch of convicts. I didn't know what being saved meant. I didn't know what it was, or what it looked like, I just knew I needed it. I had sunken as low as I could get in this life. This book chronicles my journey from childhood adventures to life-changing mistakes, and ultimately to finding faith and purpose through God's unwavering plan.
